Alienware

Sort of on topic: What do you guys think of CyberPower Inc. - UNLEASH THE POWER - Create the Custom Gaming PC of your dreams Not specifically for laptops, but for computing in general. I figure the next computer I buy I'll be building myself, but I was wondering what folks thought of this site.

dont get Alienware... they are horrible. I always dreamed of having a Alienware and talked my gf into geting one. Compleate pos. Tons of trouble running FFXI, Sims, everything. Was on the phone with tech support at least twice a week. In the end they give us a senior tech, which only made the problem worse. He wouldent fix the problem, everytime we sent in the computer they never fixed the problem and said nothing was wrong with it. If we called and the senior tech assigned to our case wasnt in then we were sol. If we tryed talking to a regular support tech they said they couldent help us, we would have to speak with the senior tech. The senior tech even admited that when customers complain about a problem they replace the part and send it back, regardles if that was that was the problem... The graphics were messed up (and still are) we sent it in, they replaced the graphic card and sent it back, even though that wasnt the problem. They couldent fix the problem (still isant fixed to date) and refuse to refund / replace the computer. Went as far as writing to the company VP to no advail. They even sent out a tech to replace a heat sync fan. Mailed us the wrong fan... then 3 weeks later said they couldent send techs out... On the plus side when the computer decides to work it can hold 3 ffxi characs along with IE and other processes at once.
