It's guaranteed to happen after that unless Marquez pulls an upset and Pac will have to have a rematch which would be interesting, but I think at this point everyone is anticipating a Mayweather v Pacquiano by the end of the year.

Big shame for Hatton though, I was a big fan and thought he had the strength and stamina to pull this off regardless of his lack of defense. He'll never get that rematch against Mayweather now, not unless he goes undefeated in at least 2-3 marquee fights in the next two years. He'll probably do one more PPV fight against someone near the end of their career that wants to redeem themselves as well so he doesn't go out in such a bad fashion.

I had higher hopes for this fight...was hoping it to go longer than 2!! Pacman is just too fast. I like Hatton even though he's probably the ugliest motherfucker to box in years. I thought his face was proof he could take some punches. And yes Mayweather is quick but I don't know if he can match up strength wise.

I just don't get how he dominated Hatton so hard, knocking him down twice before KTFOing him in the 2nd, but he couldn't knock out DLH despite dominating him for 10 straight rounds.

Anyway, I was delighted that they showed some fight footage on ESPN, but I still haven't seen the knockout. Considering that reporters afterwards were asking "was that the hardest punch you've ever thrown" it sounds like it was probably pretty brutal. If the fight gets posted online anywhere, toss a link in here, I'd like to check it out.

Mayweather vs Pacman would be like 12 rounds of Manny chasing Mayweather around the ring and Mayweather hoping to outpoint Manny.

Very impressed by pacman, will love to see pac vs jr. Like it's been said above, shame to see hatton's career go, but its really time to give it up now.

Amir Khan would do a better job against Pacquiao. Having watched it, Manny was just so much faster than Ricky.

I suspect Hatton started to believe his own hype, he's been a lesser boxer since he started hanging out with footballers and rockstars.
