Unable to download specific .dats in the Version Update

Hi all,
So it's been weeks now since the update, and I haven't been able to finish downloading it. I tried about a week after the update itself and after about 400ish files, I encountered a .dat that got to 99% and just stopped downloading. The updater didn't come up with an error or anything, and the estimated time kept popping up down the bottom with like 6 hours left, then disappearing...
So I randomly tried again today having given up and decided to wait till I could go home and reinstall the game. Weirdly though, today it just downloaded the .dat like normal, which left me pretty confused. So I've left it to carry on, it got 20% in and has found another one =,=
I'm sat at 97% on '121.DAT', and I can't go any further..

Any suggestions? Can I find and delete it somewhere to try and sort it out? I'm not sure what the deal is, but the fact that it keeps coming up with a time remaining thing down the bottom randomly suggests that perhaps it is downloading still, just very slowly?

I don't know.. anyone encountered this? (I tried deleting all the .dats downloaded in the update so far before, and that didn't fix it.. no idea how it fixed itself)

Sadly, it looks like that didn't work.. I also tried reinstalling POL and running a file check, didn't make a difference. It just doesn't want to get past 97% on this one file >.<
It doesn't make much sense to me, I don't get why A) it's coming up with some estimated times if it's not doing anything, and B) how it managed to just download the file it was having a problem with previously even though I did nothing in the time between the 2 attempts with POL.
i've tracked down all the 121.DAT files and deleted them, it just re downloads all but one and gets stuck on the 97% again.

I can't look it up at the moment, but I'd recommend sniffing around the forums for a ZIP/RAR of a file from the update. Someone usually uploads one, and it's normally linked to in the related update thread in the FFXI forums. Try downloading that and plunking it in your directory, then see what happens.
