<3 you Eanae, but I gotta chime in on this.
His spawn conditions are different from other NMs, but that has 0 effect on a bot. If it does, you're doing it wrong.
Or so I'm told from a friend of a friend <.<!
And grats on those Trotters Syl. I've yet to see any drop out of the 2394872394273423987 times I've helped people camp, lol.
In large numbers sure, but if you have one or two people, your luck would probably be better just spamming (from personal experience anyways).
Nah. Spamming is the exact same. The more people you have, the better your odds.
Everything still functions the exact same. Bots or spam, it all comes down to luck anyways.
It's just coincidence that you've had better luck with spamming.
Edit: Though it is extremely satisfying to get a manual claim when you know you're competing with bots. Even when I'd beat LS mates with a manual I had to throw it in their face, lol.
How is it extremely satisfying when you manage to claim by doing exactly what a bot does but manually for a whole 10 seconds? Much as I hate to agree with Eanae, people who whine about bots in situations where you're not camping against large rival groups are very misinformed.
If botting didn't work more often than 'lucky' manual spamming/claiming, people wouldn't spend money to do it.
It's satisfying to me to get a manual claim over a bot because I don't just spam. I try to time it just perfect on the first claim. It's better than spamming and getting blocked on your first attempt. So I'm not doing the same thing that a bot does for 10 seconds. It's still mostly luck I know, but I get a kick out of it. I guess after years of doing the exact same thing over and over it's the little things that amuse me.
I'm not sure why you would say that people in that scenario are misinformed.
If anything, Eanae was giving incorrect information by implying KA's spawn conditions had an affect on bots and that manual claims were superior in smaller numbers.
Never noticed a different delay on KA at all.
I've claimed him with voke, flash, dia, stun, threnody, quick draw, jump. I just kind of mix it up. Regardless of claim used, I've had just as much success with him as any king.
Edit: He didn't say anything about the delay being different there. I'd have to assume he was referring to the spawn conditions, not the claim delay.
Someone sounds a bit angsty.
