I doubt that you could do it with NO meds, since you're going to incur damage one way or another if you're subbing WAR and I'm pretty sure Ambush drops third? That's still one hell of an accomplishment soloing it /WAR, idc how you pulled i off. I duo with PLD/WHM curing me and I usually take at least 2k even with -20% PDT gear. DA's so much :<

I've done it with no meds, it's about doing enough damage to get it back underground, while resting between pops and still not timing out. Gear means everything if you want to solo it~

you could, but you would need meds for sure. you cant stun it and last time i soloed it on drk he resisted my drk magic alot and i had 8 merits and some gear swaps for it. dread spikes also ony drained 1/2 of the dmg he hit me for. signet saves lives.

Drain Spikes drains full on him, it's very, very, easy... >.> I 2box DRK & RDM because, well, there's no reason to not (since both accounts are mine), but between Seigan and Dread Spikes you're fine (Pending a decent spikes build). I actually just use Hasso the entire fight (again, because I 2box and it just goes quicker) and with JAs available about half the time I don't even lose dread spikes before he does down. Just wait until spikes is up everytime before you pop him and eat Carb (Puts my spikes cast HP around 1900 - Hume) - don't have apoc, but have fairly good gear otherwise. Bring some antidotes, few hi-pots, and it's not really so different from SAM other than the fact you actually do damage and take 0 when third eye is down >.> (Up to the spike limit, anywho).

Might just try this next time I go for giggles

Did a few Tygers last night, not bad double drops on this one. Also got our first Hachi piece (hands obviously) in like 50 Tier4 kills. Tyger tail is being gay again though Q.Q.

it mightve been a random resist :/ always happens to me too.. the person who gears up specifically for it always gets the lowest, i got the worst luck. happened at AV and DL too. i brought all this drk magic gear and pluto staff and the drk belt for dynamis and i still only D II'd for like 300-400. D;< i had a few peaks here and there but blah! if Dread spikes doesnt get resisted, than ya, i dont see why a drk cant solo him.
