Eddie Izzard and Mitch Hedburg are gods, Eddie Murphy is also amazing (in all honesty any black comedian can get a laugh or two from any crowd).
edit: Brian Reagan's old stuff used to make me piss myself.

I'm a fan of Jerry Seinfeld, personally. I think it's his hair. His candy skit is pretty good though. And the horses too. I have his HBO special "i'm telling you for the last time" and I love every bit of it.
I work in a comedy club so I see a lot of comics and this guy was by far one of my favorites

It's sad that Jeff Dunham is the only stand up that sells regularly where I work. (Barnes and Noble in the south) He's right up there for me with Nickleback as redneck shit I just will never understand.
LITTLE TORTILLA BOY!!
Steven Wright is awesome as well. Cept for FFXI players who sound like him. dot dot
first time i saw pablo it was great, every set i've listened to/watched after has pretty much sent the same message that he uses the same 4 voices for everything. you end up realizing that the audience is only laughing at his voices. VERY obnoxious.
Gilbert Gottfried always makes me laugh. I'm not sure if he's funny or if it's just the way he presents himself.
.. and the voice.
I had a joke for the other thread, couldn't be bothered to necrobump:
What is 6^pi?
Spoiler: show
Ah, what the heck.
Gottfried for me is mainly, as you said, the way he presents himself and the voice. Even though I have to admit that quite a few jokes off his "Dirty Jokes" DVD caught me off-guard, in the good way.
as much as i liked him i agree. Also the last standup i saw from him (was actually on last night) he was sweating so bad that it was actually awkward to watch.first time i saw pablo it was great, every set i've listened to/watched after has pretty much sent the same message that he uses the same 4 voices for everything. you end up realizing that the audience is only laughing at his voices. 2 names
Robin Williams
Sam Kinison
how is it i didn't see these names mentioned?
Stephen Lynch I saw once and thats ok not everyone enjoys singing stuff but c'mon how could nobody mention to of the all time greats?
Charlie Murphy!
I saw him live in December and hurt myself laughing so hard.
/em sings Special Ed
i saw stephen lynch, jim breur, flight of the conhords, and lewis black live and they were all great
breur was probably my favorite, followed by lync and black. While i love lewis black it was totally different seeing him live than his specials. It was kinda out of order and he studders a lottttttt
btw adding FOTC to this list. I loooooooooooooooooved them.
