I can dance and there a few things I won't dance to:
- mid-tempo 80s music (seriously, how do you dance to that without high-kicks and a torn sleeveless denim vest)
- music which requires a specific type of dancing: salsa, meringue, tango (basically music that is the same name as the dance, it's really a no-brainer here)
- anything which can truthfully be called 'black' music anymore, since hiphop obviously doesn't count anymore; this would leave calypso, soca, and anything else which requires blatant intercourse on the dance floor or doing things with spine and hips that white bodies simply don't come with the parts to be able to do
- these, and trance; because everyone knows trance sucks
the lead (male) usually leads with the left foot when you're dancing any kind spanish music. merengue is the easiest to learn:
