Shocking Videogame Moments

It doesn't matter if it was shocking. I could shamelessly praise that game all day long. Everyone should play it... Everyone. The definition of epic had to be rewritten because of that fight.

Epic (ep-ik): 1. The last fight in Metal Gear Solid 4.
2. It doesn't matter because nothing else comes close to 1.

Yeah that fight was pretty damn epic, but I always enjoyed the fight vs The Boss in MGS3.

Oh, another moment from MGS 4 is when you finally get the Railgun. I can say I shit my pants when I got it, I've been wanting to use that gun ever since I saw Fortune in MGS2 and it finally fucking happened. Then my other wet dream came true with Rex vs Ray... yeah, Act 4 is unbelievable.

Out of all the MGS moments already mentioned, I didn't specifically see any mention of explanation of who and what the Patriots were. While the entire game was epic, that was the most "holy shit" moment for me probably since everyone spent years speculating on it and everything that happened between MGS2 and MGS3.

Um... Unless I'm missing something this wasn't really shocking because they came out and told u in the first like 10% of the game that it was a dream in the guy's head.

I would consider this shocking if we were lead to believe the arabian setting was real through like 75-90% of the game and then it was revealed that it was a dream. Since they introduced it so early I don't really consider it shocking.

The Legend of Zelda – Ocarina of time

Star Ocean wasn't that shocking to me because it had been leading up to that point for some time. It just took a little while for everything to be verified and laid out on the table.
