Ya, I felt pretty shitty about it and kinda felt obligated to go on the run after that. I made up a bullshit excuse that a linkshell member wanted me to do a Nyzul run for one of his friends, and that the MT was unrelated to Salvage lol. I lucked out because he d/ced, which was probably forced anyway haha.

I remember my friend and I were out doing swift belt once, and we brought along a thief from shout. She's a really passionate thief, so when she saw his gear she was pretty pissed... anyway, we're about to pop the last mithra before moving to elvaan, and she says something along the lines of, "I hope it doesn't drop for him" and it ends up in party chat.

A few seconds later, the guy goes, "do you mean me?" and we ended up covering it up (I called her a wicked bitch and lied. Said no, she was talking about scholar/red mage subligar not dropping for me... she said the same thing, but with dragoon subligar, so the story kind of fell flat on its face.) I think he bought it, anyway.

I don't think she felt too crappy, we both hate gimp thieves more than anything.

Sitting around waiting to enter Salvage, 2 people start talking about their kids, how they're starting school, etc.

Someone mentions how funny it is that young boys think girls are "icky", and I think what my buddy meant to type was "When I was in kindergarten, I liked girls", but that's not what came out....

My worst mt ever was pretty crazy. My ls was having a weird discussion about necromancers, reanimated corpses, and zombies. I mistakenly say in party chat "No thanks, I'm not into necrophilia..." My party responded with a lot of wtf?'s and o.O's.

This happened back in the day before I used windower, but I would definitely kill a hobo to go back in time to get a screen shot of this.
There was a couple in our LS that would always be off, /anon in weird areas. They'd do all that annoying shit like /em kisses *** goodbye and shit, it was annoying. My ls leader's wife would get so pissed, because the woman was married and had a family and what not. Anyway, one quiet LS night, they are out in LuFaise meadows and she mt some basic sex thing like "Do it harder, you know I like it like that" or whatever and everyone on LS bursts into "laughter" and starts giving them shit. They of course, pretend like they were "just trying to see if you're awake!". Where it gets messed up is, the guy was in his mid-20s, and later I find out the girl was in her MID-60s (I found that out one day when she asked me to help her set up a myspace page for her quilts....).

I've always wondered if they ever had anything going on in real life because they were both from Seattle. One time she asked him to call her on LS and then she goes "All we have to do is talk if you want." Insatiable old lady I guess.

omg lol this is a very interesting thread.

One of my favorite threads so far in my noob BG lifetime! The blue monitor post is my fav so far. It looks real because they put asterisks at the beginning and end of each post. Lol just realized it's lesbian too.

As for cybering, clean rp in ffxi is okay in the right setting even though cheesy as hell no matter what. -But if some one starts rping anything remotely close to the "cyber stuff" to me in game, I tend to derail them immediately with random banter and avoid it at all costs.
