I edited this out of my first post, but just to not leave him in the wind... What Wafik was replying to was me saying how the average FF player >>>> the average WoW player.

We've seen it in personality, skill, loyalty, trust, and drive. In BtL just about everyone in the roster and of those we recruited fit those categories nicely. With most (if not all so far?) of the WoW players we've encountered they're just about as far from those as it gets in some way or another... So we're hoping to find more FF/former FF people to join lol.

And yet, I quit FFXI twice because I found a grand total of like 2 competent players.

I think a more fair statement is "average player on endgamish forums > average player in lfg chat/whitegate".

The average player in both games is pretty godawful.

How are you guys on raiding shadow priests? I saw you have 3 lv.80 priests according to your roster, and I'm giving serious thought to moving to a server where I can raid more consistently, but I don't really want to be in the back seat. Also, playing with ex-FFXI players would be cool.

I don't think I want to go to wow, before BC I was 60 and was bored of raids, then tried again after BC and was still bored of raids.

WoW precap = fun, but endgame just wasn't too fun for me :/

Kidding aside, the game is more incredible than it was before. Leveling isn't all that bad and even end game is actually starting to be pretty fun with achievements and lots of raids for the casual players.

I just went back to WoW myself, playing casually, just soloing a lot(only 48 Dwarf Hunter). It's a nice change from FFXI, and I totally understand the point of wanting more FFXI vets in your WoW guild, most people seem very impatient over here on Misha (yes, lolPVE). Hope all goes well with your guild

While I do have more patience than the average wow player, there is one thing that bothers the shit out of me, and that's people being too fucking lazy and waiting for a summon.

Them: "I need a summon to naxx"

Me: "You're in dalaran, fly there"

Them: "You should summon me because you're there"

Me: "Summoning you isn't my job, when you got invited, you should have come to the instance instead of waiting, especially this being a PvP server."

I then boot the dick, who's probably useless anyway, and get someone more competent.

That's something that pissed me the fuck off too, esp in FFXI. You get an invite, you go out there on your own, and don't waste time dicking around in a city waiting for a summon, or waiting for summon/port.

I love you. I feel better now knowing I'm not the only one who sits in the raid zone and yells at the lazy bastards who are in Dalaran and ask for a summon to Naxx (c'mon, it takes less than a minute and half to get to Wintergarde Keep -.-) to get on their damn mount and put in some gdamn effort. It annoys the everloving crap out of me.

It takes like 10 seconds to get a stone up then everyone nearby can start throwing out summons, you can get a whole raidgroup in from starting with just 4 people in about 30 seconds if everyone helps >_>

I shared the same stance as "omfg what's so hard about just flying over" pre-warlock summoning changes, but I've come to consider now that with a very prepared warlock plus some very prepared friends can get a whole raid summoned within 3 minutes. My raid usually announces only one wave of summons, and if you miss it, that's it, you gotta hoof it yourself and may possibly get docked DKP depending on how long you take (unless the summon failed and that has to be announced quickly).

So after seeing the feedback that Stan got from his post, we figured we'd give it a shot as well.

Basically about 9 months ago a good chunk of our core group from FF decided to move over to WoW (basically after we spent 18 hours on PW...) and have been enjoying it since. We've established a nice little raiding guild named BLT, but we're looking to fill a couple spots to continue on with running 25man Ulduar without having to pug 1-3 each week.

We're located on Maelstrom Horde which is an RPPVP server, and no we don't RP at all but we all just kind of wound up here and have stayed. We've been successfully raiding for the past 5 months or so, clearing Naxx/Malygos/and 2D/3D Sarth each week. We've also been in Ulduar since release and have been successful with that as well. We generally raid on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights 8PM-12/1AM EST each night, sometimes later on Friday/Saturday if all is going well and people want to keep going.

What we're looking for is a few healers and a lock or two to really fill in the gaps. I'm not going to be too specific on what we're looking for because we're open to possibilties as long as the app looks promising. However, we would like to see more Cloth/Leather/Mail users apply because we are pretty set on tanks and melee DPS already, but again we are open to possibilities.

You can armory but stats are 22.58% crit 2076 bonus healing, 507 mp5, and 304 haste. I thought I had 25% crit but must have been with buffs meh.
