Honestly grrm has been on the record complaining about fans trying to complete the story because it's a lose lose for him. If he doesn't come to the conclusion that the fans expect fans will bitch and he wouldn't be true to himself when writing. If he does everyone will know the ending and the series would be a big letdown.

Apparently he told the producers of the show how the series ends and has a notebook containing where the stories are heading, so they would probably finish writing the books.
