Music Composition work is the most tedious work ever. I enjoy the class itself, but avoiding use of a note because of arbitrary rules even when it sounds good is just nonsense.

It's weird that instructors place so much emphasis on the rules from the baroque/classical era when modern musicians tend to pay no attention to the rules in actual compositions. I never understood that.

I remember that I was going to go into physics until grade 12 when I learned that I didn't care at all about anything but particle physics. I damn near broke my physics teacher's heart when I went into biochem. He was a cool guy. I always felt bad about that.

Edit: That's exactly how I was when I first started now that I think about it. I didn't care about anything else but particle physics. I still annoy my professors with my constant obsession with particle physics. They want me to focus on solid state physics because that's where all of the money and jobs are.
