Demo is out for everyone today on 360. Finally got around to playing it and it's pretty bad. Not the style of the game, since thats classic Duke. I mean technically speaking, it's just bad. Game stutters alot, has framerate drops and graphics are just sub-par in general. I'm not sure if the game itself is any better and improves alot over the demo, but so far this is something that you shouldn't pay more than $20 for.

Exactly, as do most of the Duke fans... no one's saying it is a very good game, it's just slightly below expectations. Not far below so most Duke Nukem fans aren't up in arms about it since it's mostly what was expected. Basically, if you want a new Duke Nukem game, get this. If not, pass on it. I don't think anyone was saying otherwise.

game doesnt run terribly well on the PC, and really shows that while it could have been a lot of fun, limiting you to 2 weapons isnt what duke is all about

Nobody's going all pc master race here. I'm just saying you're dumb if you buy a shooter on a console when the PC option is available--especially if your beef with the game ends up being framerate or load times, 2 things which plague console ports because of the hardware limitations.

Given the number of complaints here that go "I picked this up for <console> and the load times / framerate are bad", I would say they don't.

Complaints about the game just being a not-fun game are pretty valid though.
