One time I was applying for a job and my would-be boss called me up the next day and asked me what the hell an Elvaan was. I fucked up and put elvaan as my race on the application. Anyone else ever do something stupid like this?

Funny/Weird:

My wife and I both play, a lot of the time in casual conversation with IRL friends that know both of us... I'll have to catch myself from saying her in-game name rather than her RL name.

I used to be pretty bad about pressing my ventrilo hotkey whenever i was saying something to my wife across the room, or talking on my cell phone. I also press the esc key alot in msn messenger.

When I first started playing the game, whenever I'd walk out the front door on a sunny day to go to work... the chocobo theme song would play in my head when I saw my car.

Me: I'm kinda hungry, are you?
Wife: Yeah, you should go pick something up real quick.
Me: alright, the usual?
Wife: yep, do you have gil on you though?
