We've all read the reports on the 18-hour PW fight inducing vomiting and the subsequent changes made by SE. In the spirit of this time-honored tradition of staring at something until you puke, I've got a question for the uber community of BG... or at least some fodder for the trolls. Do any of you have any embarrassingly stupid stories of how your real life was effected by this game?

I'll begin.

I actually suffered a slipped disc in my back from sitting in the same position for too long while leveling up my first job. I still suffer from infrequent bouts with sciatica due to the pathetic vertebrae in question pinching the nerve, and had to endure a month of physical therapy to reduce this.

Has anyone had an experience similar to this? C'mon... I know you're out there. It's time to laugh again.

I just recently had surgery for an umbilical hernia. I acquired the hernia following the January 22 bans, for I literally laughed at the idiots on my server owning themselves hard enough to rip my belly button...

In the aftermath I was provided with 60 Vicodine, of which I used only 6, and a spiffy new scar. Thanks FFXI!
