So far:
Human Physiology: A
Chemistry II: B
Microbiology: A
Genetics: pending
I can relate to you and admire the difficulty of some of those classes, including genetics but nice job on micro :D
Anyways,
Organic Chem:A-
Immunology:B+
Clinical Chemistry:A
Pharmacogenomics:B
Intro to Healthcare:C
3.36 GPA this semester
3.47 cumulative
Fuck you Intro to bullshit for ruining a nice semester, the professor was a dick that I don't feel like elaborating on his useless class. Orgo and Immunology were definitely tough and fun at the same time.
My grades are in the attatchment. I go to one of those schools that are business from the other thread, and the reason I'm only taking 2 classes is because I'm almost done and all the ones I need to take aren't always available and because nobody wants to teach at my school.
Also my GPA sucks but that's another story.
Got an A in applied psych, incompletes in the rest of my courses. I gotta take my remaining finals in the next few weeks (personality psych, calc 1, and art history which is my last gen-ed fluff course iirc), hopefully fall in the B/C range for everything else.
Finals are next week but I can already predict my grades
General Chemistry II: B
Sociology 101: B
Calculus III: C but most likely a D. I calculated that I have to get a 75%+ on the final to pass, and that isn't going to happen
Should have dropped calc.
ITT: People who are in college, and people who are laughing at people still in college.
I fall in the latter category lol
hahagtfo
Japanese 202: C (lol didn't study for final)
Global Politics: C (didn't go to class)
CCJ Criminal Justice 101: C (didn't go to class)
PHI 325 Race and Racism: A (My actual major, I cared)
Logic: A
Philosophy: A
Piano: A-
Modeling and Simulation (physics): B+
Of course, I still haven't turned in my final for M&S yet and it was due a week ago. This grade could easily become an F (assuming they can still change it after they've turned grades in). It's funny how physics is consistently my lowest grade. Mainly because most physics courses I've taken are laboratory or computer coding based.
Piano? Really? Damn...I want to take that now.
The only thing I hate about the music courses is that they bump up tuition a few hundred dollars when you take those (or at least they do at my school). I took voice last spring and I'll probably either take piano again or guitar in the fall.
QFT. Some of those courses I just don't even know how you worked hard in them. English Composition? Maybe its different for your school so I apologize if so, but thats the name of our beginner level course here (ENG 100). I think I went to that class 10 times total, easy A when I took it. Psychology...went to it 5 times (first day, each test day) got an A, read the chapters the night before each exam for maybe 3 hours each time. Most 100 level courses here are take 3 or 4 exams, get grade.
As for my grades this semester...
Software Enigneering II - B+ Wound up pulling at least 10 all nighters this semester working on our year long group project just for this class, probably put it over 100 hours into it myself, other members worked pretty hard too. This class alone burned me out big time. Not only had to do project, but wrote nearly 120 pages worth of material this semester alone (last semester just as much) and had multiple presentations on the weekend, which fucking sucked.
Computer Langauges - B+ Sounds basic but was a very high level discussion on multiple languages, not too bad though...although functional languages can go fuck themselves. Only two or three all nighters here. Quiz's were pretty tough though.
Senior Seminar CS - A Lol class, had to write 2 10 page papers thats it.
Astronomy - B- Basic intro class, didn't give a shit about it as our teacher changed 3 times. Spent a lot of time going over the local culture's names for stars and constellations, which I found useless and gave up on the class at that point.
Web Design - A- Silly class, didn't learn anything useful until the end. One all nighter here finishing the final project that I had no time to work on due to software (seriously, that class killed me).
Easily my roughest semester, even over last when I took the Advanced Database application class (that was not too bad actually), balancing this with a job/girlfriend/friends/family/ffxi was absolute hell. Just one more to go, thank god.
CSCI 3133 Programming With C 3.00 A 12.000
ISAM 3331 Intro To Business Databases 3.00 A- 11.001
ISAM 3332 Appl Progrming w/Visual Basic 3.00 A- 11.001
MKTG 4531 International Marketing 3.00 B- 8.001
Winrar, International Marketing = Worst Elective EVAR. Found out after I started the course... is taught by a POSTGRAD teacher teaching undergraduates.... thus we had to write a full thesis paper as a "group". Nothing like 2 30+ page papers written by 3 people. Only grades were 3 tests + long term paper, and the tests were ass. Systems Analysis and Design this summer.... going to own me hard. Shit is a ton of work, all group work (other than tests) and stuff is so complex. I tried to figure it out by reading the book and I just said fuck all and put it back in my bag. The two papers were later combined into 1 full thesis paper... which I thought was lulzworthy.
Two A's so far, expect two more to go along with them
