Xenogear's "massive wall of text" is one of the greatest stories ever told in a book, movie, anime, manga, videogame, etc.

Calling it a wall of text is moronic.

Definitely my favorite game of all time. I just recently played it again, emulated because I was too lazy to find my copy of it, and enjoyed it as much as the last few times I played through it. I found the .iso of it fairly easily on google.

funny, I just started a new file on this game this week.

I really like the combo/combat system. Always enjoyed the smoothness of the battles. Not to mention the story is amazing.

Good man. You won't be disappointed. The story to this game was the definition of epic. Now I want to play again, I have my original (also not greatest hits version) copy sitting around somewhere.........

Definitely one of the best RPGs of all time. I wish SE would remake this. Voice acting, keep the battle system intact, remixed music but original score still there, and the biggest addition would be to redo the second disc portion unrushed without doing most of the story in text. disc 2 could have been so much more epic but it felt rushed. ppl missed out on this game because it came out roughly the same time as FF7. They should definitely remake it.

Fuck yeah i love this game. I saw an advertisment for it in a games mag years ago, and being a UK resident there were no plans to bring it out over here. So i did what any dedicated gamer would do: Chip PS and import it. Best thing i've ever done in my life. Ever.

The whole religion/technology thing had me sold and the anime cutscenese were gorgeous. I heart Vierge, best looking mech ever.

I want to play it again but discs are long gone in house moves and so's the PS Fail!
