Casket Gear drop rate altered?

Either wiki is wrong, there's a latent, or I got very unlucky. From personal experience the proc rate on the black adargas look-alikes sucks.

Someone also posted proc rate on Pestle was good, so I'm thinking there must be some latent to increase the rate. Maybe it's the day like with the avatar weapons.

In this case we can write it off like most other proc weapons in the game (excluding avatar weapons and maybe one or two others since they have the elemental aspect attached to them)

I went out to farm the Gothic pieces yesterday for the first time.

1/5 in Behemotdom took about 20-25 mins.
1/1 in Xarc on the very first mob I killed.

Since then, I've opened about 15 caskets in Konschtat and haven't gotten the drop.

I got well over 75k from the gigas[50k gil +25k for 5x lumbers], so maybe SE trying to do that ;x

I remember back in the day when I figured out I could get a little over 10k/hr around level 50 farming raw gold from gigas in delkfutt's.

Was so awesome at the time.

i'm unsure groundskeepers in sky can even drop chests... over the past week my friends and I have farmed/killed Despot 13 times and have yet to see a single blue or gold chest drop. I just wrote it off to groundskeepers (or maybe despot ph) not dropping chests, but idk.

also just occurred to me when I read that, I've killed a hell of a lot of groundskeepers lately and never seen one leave a chest, ever

Kills in Ru'Aun Gardens is going to be a significantly smaller sample size, paired with the fact that Kupowers don't reach the zone of Tu'Lia... Carect Chokers are going to be few and far between. I have had thousands of exp solo in Ru'Aun and I have only seen 2~3 blue caskets.

Kupowers everywhere else, however... I am getting like a 50% brown casket rate on anything I kill. I have got like 5 rare/ex items in the last day and a half of half-ass farming. Plenty of gils in the meantime... lol 30k guns from Xarcabard caskets.

i hate you...i'm on my 2nd day in behemoth's dom and i can't tell you number of brown chests anymore, i stopped counting in disgust.

Got the gothic gauntlets on my first brown chest in Xarcabard. Also got the pestle on one of my first chests in Buburimu.

I'm wondering if the drop rate for the useful/valuable stuff may be related to server population. Maybe they only give out X per day per server, so drop rates will be lower on Odin than they are Garuda (my server.)

In areas under Kupowers, chest drop is a lot higher, but I also think that the average value of the drops is lower.

Took my fiance a week and a half of behemoth's dominion slaughter to get his shoes.

I was in Xarc omw to CZB on the first day of the Kupowers effects. Took a knee to see if I could get the Quickening effect, and ended up aggroing an eye. Killed it, popped open the brown chest it dropped, and received Gothic Gauntlets.

I realize that my luck for obtaining anything else in the game has now been used up. (For something I didn't want either. :/ )

I did see 2 Sirocco's Axes in Cape Terrigan the 2nd or so day of the kupopowers in ~20 minutes while doing FoV and skilling Archery.

Now I only have to get BST up 42 levels to use it! >_>

I guess I used up my luck in Cape Terrigan, since I'm now 0/15 or so on Xarc in the last 2 days. =/

Not looking forward to the pain of Herder's subligar. Must get it done before the 25th!
