Don't judge the volatility of the Behemoth Hide market from what's happened over the past few weeks. Everyone knew this was coming, so nobody was buying them. The price has probably already bottomed out, and leathercrafters are going to be buying them as fast as the Tiger Gloves/Ledelsens/Trousers supply can keep up because this is the one month of the year where the Dusk market starts to make sense.

Nope, if i had I'd prolly of gotten a haut and leveled his PLD. Only got 2 rank 5s on Cele. It was one of Rumaris mules that i haven't logged into since last years bonanza.

I like exp scrolls. Some people like the statues or doing BC fights. If someone doesn't care for any of that stuff enough to spend 2 minutes ensuring a rank 5 (Or would rather shoot for the moon with 10 identical marbles or something) you can't really fault them for it.

Only bought 10 marbles this year instead of 20 like last, forgot about my mule this year for some reason? Won three Rank 5's, I guess it beats no wins from last year. I used my token to get the #s, didnt check how close I was to other ranks, didnt really care, would have just been dissapointed ;/

Honestly, guaranteeing yourself a rank 4 prize is a fair amount of work for a guarantee prize with the real-world value of about $8 (Especially if you spent $27 creating and keeping those mules around for 3 months, but that's a separate issue). I'm vehemently anti-RMT so I think of the prize value as about 5 hours' worth of farming, but not everyone values gil the same way I do.
