I set up an excel file to generate numbers for me and then fixed the final digit from 0-9 as needed for each try :3
3 rank 5's and a rank 2! even though the rank 2 was on my main i still picked gaiters (but fafnir statue is still my favorite).

Double zeroes comes up the same way any other number comes up for 2 different ranks. Just because it looks funny doesn't mean it's not statistically identical to something that looks less funny.

I doubt you have the statistics on the likelihood of someone that is picking their own numbers to pick double zeros. It's not about the chances of a random number generator creating it, it's about the chances of someone choosing that for a number.

If they were paying attention and understood that the Bonanza numbers are 0~99,999 then they'd notice that numbers like 53004, 800, 00000, 99999 are all equally valid and equally likely.

If the conspiracy outlook is correct, then the numbers were chosen to give a certain number of winners, so smart money would have been on things that people "obviously" wouldn't pick, like 00's.
