Odd dates and numbers are signs of hacked pokemons. I have a few with weird dates on my Diamond save.

Post it's stats, if they all have possible 31 ivs or if you level it a few times and it's definitely 31 ivs then it's hacked, otherwise maybe they just kept a bunch of eggs in their box? I dunno lol..

Edit: Electrvire is pretty great but I find Jolteon more versatile overall (sweeper/baton passer/rain dancer)

So I transferred the movie Arceus I got a while back to my HG and activated the Shinto Ruins event. Wow, they really went all out with the CS for it, best I've seen in a Pokemon game ever. o_O
You get to create a Lv1 Palkia, Dialga or Giratina during the event, I'm guessing most people got these in Platinum/Pokesav etc but it's worth it for the CS.

If anyone wants to borrow it to activate the event just let me know.

I'd appreciate it if I could borrow it at some point so my wife and I could trigger said event. We would've gotten one ourselves but we thought we had sworn off anymore Pokemon games after Diamond and Pearl and ended up selling those.

Also, if anyone could grab a spare one of those special colored Pichu off the WiFi for me and my wife to borrow or trade for I'd be much obliged, I know she'd get a kick out of the alternate colored Pichu and the one with the spiky ear (she's a Chu fan, lol).

Anyone else feel still completely tired of Pokemon after Diamond and Pearl? I mean, original Gold and Silver were my favorite games back in the day, but after clocking something close to 250 hours of gameplay with Pearl (plus a crapload more with my Emerald, Pokemon Colisseum and Gale of Darkness in order to complete my Pokedex) I don't even feel like trying Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

I mean, I was eagerly waiting for them, but now that they are released, I don't even feel like playing them. Or it could be just that there are so many good games coming out this spring that I just don't have the time to get excited about Pokemon again.

I sort of get what you're feeling. My best advice would be to play in small terms or try doing something new you didn't do before. (I tried using un-orthodox pokemon-types like Nidorino,etc.) Anything that changes it up might spark an interest again. : p

There are a ton of good games out right now. I'm trying to juggle my time between work, FFXIII, and pokemon. I still haven't beat WKC. And a lot of people are prob playing god of war now too.

For this game, I'm using only pokemon I haven't used before (except for munchlax). Also I transferred over exp share/lucky egg/amulet coin from platinum to speed things up.

Yeah, juggling the time between different games sucks. Although a lot of times the decision is made for me when my wife takes dominion over the television.

Hey Setsuko, do you think I could borrow the Pikachu colored Pichu you got off the WiFi for like an hour or so just to unlock and catch the spiky eared one for myself and my wife?

Yeah, like others said, just do something new, and enjoy that playthrough. Don't burn yourself out actually playing all the games and trying to catch them all and stuff >.>
