Can you breed the starter Pokemon once you import them? I never really played around with the Pal Park on Diamond. I guess they're technically just other Pokemon once you bring them in.

Anyone have the original 3 starters or the ability to make eggs with them that wouldn't mind being a little generous?

he's in blackthorn village. there's also an NPC there that'll teach you any moves you've forgotten and wanna reteach your pokemon.

waterfall is a pretty kickass move too. I'm so glad they changed flash to a TM instead of an HM as well.

just beat the elite 4. I take back all I said about Feraligatr.... he freaking beats the living shit out of things now.

::edit:: yeeeesssss finally caught a Larvitar in the safari zone. I refused to wait till Mt. Silver to get one.

Didn't they already change flash from HM to TM in a previous version? Seems kinda weird but I guess since there are like only two or so caves it wasn't needed as an HM.

Eh I decided to try to fiddle with Pokesav with a Platinum rom and save file (already have original Pearl and Heart Gold) to find some certain pokémon I couldn't otherwise. However, everytime I try to load the rom with the edited save file it doesn't seem to find it and it just starts out from as if I started over. Yes, I did name the save file after the rom name as well.

I'm not too sure. I never played ruby-platinum or whatever.

and if anyone needs a really good HM mule, Krabby is pretty good. making him my cut, rock smash, whirlpool and strength bitch. the other 3 HMs I'll use on my main team. and now I can finally get rid of this Onix

For those who were considering getting a Pokéwalker without the game, don't. The infrared receiver is in the cartridge, so it'd be no good with a flashcart anyway.

Just FYI, I recieved my 3rd badge (it sucks juggling like 5 games, can't concentrate on any one) and almost have my forth, and I have yet to encounter any freezing issues. Just figured I'd let you know, or anyone else. This is with the most updated firmware anyway. Maybe I've just been lucky.

I have never used my DS's wi-fi stuff before, nor do I see any option for anything in the menus. Will it automatically pick up a wireless router, and as mine is secured I am assuming I need to add it as an exception like my PS3/360?

1. I don't think cracked copies have any limits on trading. Trade locally, trade online, trade wherever.

2. You can only get one of those three once you have beaten Red, so just have your friend pick a different one than you and then trade them. You can easily find the third online for a trade.

3. Set up wifi through a menu on the main part of the DS, the menu that comes up where you can select between playing a DS or GBA game, using pictochat, or other options. You can then go to the top floor in a PokeCenter and talk to one of the women up there to get your game's friend code for trading.

I can breed charmander, mudkip, torchic, the 3 starters from diamond/pearl, and maybe 1-2 others. And I have a friend who can trade me anything I'm missing (all legit of course). I also have random things like eevee and larvitar eggs (and 1000 munchlax eggs). Can breed things for ppl today while I'm at work if anyone wants anything and trade tomorrow.

Man the Elite Four is pretty rough on me.

Lvl 38 Kadabra
Lvl 39 Gyrados
Lvl 43 Nidoking
Lvl 43 Typhlosion
Lvl 20 Dratini
Lvl 45 Lugia

Lugia/Dratini are mostly there for filler. I feel like my pokemon are too soft and I'm not sure where to train a Kadabra.

I leveled my pupitar in victory road until he evolved into tyranitar, I think victory road is your best bet for leveling. If your pokemon is too low for victory road just throw him in the front and switch to a different pokemon or give him a exp. share while leveling a higher pokemon until he's 40+. I forget the exact levels of the pokemon in victory road.

Could you breed a Charmander for me please? I don't know if I have anything you'd be interested in, but I can try to get something. I have HeartGold if there's anything you might want from it. I'm not too far yet though.
