The official site has just updated and has announced that the Yellow Forest Pokéwalker route is set to be given over WiFi in America, and likely Europe & Australia as they run off the same servers, from April 1st 2010 to April 30th 2010. This WiFi event allows the download of the route in Pokéwalker that houses six different kind of Pikachu. One of them knows Surf, and one of them knows Fly.

Edit: The pichu event can only be downloaded from diamond/pearl/platinum. Forgot to mention that.

Ditto can be bred with any pokemon to make eggs.

The Masuda method is possible due to coding Masuda programmed into the games. If, in the Pokémon daycare, the game recognizes one of the Pokémon as having a different home location as the other, the chances of having a shiny Pokémon in the egg will increase to 1/2048 instead of the usual 1/8192. This increases the odds by four times.

Okay breeding question here. I have a Ditto captured, and I'm about to get my free Evee. I want to make a few diferent -eons. So do I drop off Ditto + Evee in the Day Care center, leave, then come back and get another Evee? Or is it varied that I can get an Evee/Ditto/Something else?

You can do that or you can wait until you get the first evolution of the Eevee and then drop it off at the day care. Say you evolved it into a Jolteon and then you made it mate with ditto, you will get a Eevee egg not Jolteon.

Finally got past the Elite 4 and managed to whittle down Lance the Dragon fetishist with my Electric Sheep.
Popped him in the lead to one-shot the Gyarados and his Discharge/Thunderpawnch and Static slowly wore down everything else with use of meat shields, revives, and lots of Hyper Potions.

Then I blasted through all the Kanto Gyms in no time at all using my "Flamethrower Everything" strategy except for the odd "Surf Everything" or "Discharge Everything" Gym. Think I'll take a break before going after Red, probably need a new team for it too.

Oh and fuck that sleeping Snorlax. Son of a bitch refused to get in the Dusk Ball, kept sneaking out of Red HP with his leftovers, and his Rollout was demolishing my team.

You will get an Eevee. You will never get a ditto from breeding ditto + whatever pokemon. If you put an evolved eevee in there with ditto, you will still get a regular eevee.

And right now I got like 55 charmanders last night, and I'm still going for a shiny so you don't have to worry about me running out of charmanders. You'll have to ask someone else for a JP ditto cuz I only have my one that I'm using.

Also @ the person wanting a pichu, get someone to breed one for you so it will have volt tackle (have pikachu/raichu hold light ball while in daycare). My lv.61 raichu still uses volt tackle to this day. (it's an egg move)

When you go into Kanto after Johto can you catch the regular pokemon Squirtle bulbasaur and Pikachu? or you gotta breed them?

aka i know that if we evolve Pikachu too fast raichu wont get any moves so better wait till pikachu learn his moves before evolving him and etc
