If your father cannot have all the egg moves no. You need to be able to get all the egg moves on one parent. You can get multiple egg moves if you manage to get them on one father though.

Ah, ok, thanks for clearing that up. Had this nice elaborate plan going then I sat back and thought for a second and was liked "damn..." lol. Don't think it's possible to have Bullet Punch and Crunch on the same father from what I could find so Extremespeed it is! Physical Lucario suffers from weak pp all around really anyway (close combat) so w/e it'll be ok. XD Gonna roll with a special atk ver. for my long dungeon excursions and long periods between healing since all those moves have a lot of pp. I'll use the physical one for smashing trainer face or some wi-fi fun. \o/

For those trying to figure out what's up with transferring pokerus from D/P/Pl to gold/silver, I gave Dmitry a charmander with PKRS and he was able to spread the aids to all his pokemon. His charmander didn't go into cured status after the transfer so idk what's up with others losing the contagious status.

While I was at work today, I hatched every single egg I had in my bank hoping I'd gotten a shiny somewhere. Still no luck lol So I've got hatched D/P starters for ppl + whatever else you guys want. If you have AIM I'll be up for a few more hours tonight if anything wants something right now. Just msg me

They probably transferred them right before midnight or something and when they checked it was cured. Who knows in the end, but it's good to know it is supposed to transfer over without any problems.

Edit: Wonder if the people having the PKRS problem were playing on retail or flashcard carts. Might have something to do with it.

That's a shame about the Charmander :( Hopefully it'll show itself soon enough for ya! Probably when you least expect it/aren't trying for one really anymore which is how it usually works. ><

Can't recommend Acekard 2i enough. Cheap and works great for the 4 months I've been using it. The other recommended one is the CycloDS, but about double the Acekard, and has a couple of extra features. GBATemp.net would be the best place to research them at.

Vitamins will only raise a stat to 100. If you are >=100 in a stat it won't work. You'll have to manually raise it to 255 (252 is best since it's the highest divisible by 4 number, and 4 points is 1 stat point) by fighting pokemon that give that EV for defeating it.

If you use EV reducing berries on a stat over 100 even if the stat is @255 using 1 berry will take the stat down to 100 initially. After that it will take the EV's down by 10 each berry. So if you start at 255 and wanted to take it to zero it would take 11 berries.

EV's will never disappear unless using the berries I talked about earlier. Every pokemon gives EV's when defeated (as long as EXP is gained, yes trainer owned pokemon ingame will give EV's too as long as you gained EXP). Remember only the pokemon that gained EXP from the fight will gain the EVs. So if you only battled with 2 of your 6 pokemon then you would only get EV's on those 2. For instance, Magikarps give 1 speed EV. If you fought 4 magikarp you would get 4 speed EV's total which equals a stat raise in SPD or +1 SPD. Every pokemon gives a specific type of EV you can look on bulbapedia under the pkemons picture a bit and it will show what EVs it gives.

A common misconception is that a pokemon that is lv100 can not be EV trained. In fact this couldn't be more false. Nothing is stopping a lv100 pokemon from obtaining EV's. It is just usually falsely assumed that since the pokemon can't level up again it couldn't get the stat raise from the EVs. However to correct this problem you only need to deposit the pokemon into the PC and withdraw it. Pokemon stats are always recalculated upon being deposited and withdrawn from the PC so it will reconfigure the stats to fall in line with the EV's obtained. ^_^

Where did you hear this from? I have been EV and IV training for quite some time now and have never heard that. Not that it matters too much because all the things I care about are at level 50 but, I am interested to know where you got that from.

Personal experience, and heard it as well on projectpokemon.org at one time. It's very simple to test. Go get a pokemon write down like say it's speed stat. Now go fish up and kill 4 magikarp (2 if you have PKRS) and then deposit it into the PC and then withdraw it. You will now have oldSPD+1.

Hmm I will have to try that for sure. Thats pretty interesting and seems pretty hack if you were ever doing lvl 100 battles. I am surprised I have never seen that before but that is an interesting tidbit of information. Thanks.
