I havent gotten to Battle Tower yet Ragnell. How much smarter are the AI there?

I havent reached Platinum's tower, but i'm speaking from the Towers in the past games I've played, They are much smarter than the regular games shitty AI system, although Platinum has the best AI single player wise...but thats not saying much.

MMOs are usually always easier than single player games to account for more human failure and to keep stupid people playing, but you are free to be optimistic about your fantasy. What you are missing is that all you've said has little to do with being a MMO, just more grindy(which really only blocks players from the game's main appeal: multiplayer) or more difficult. There have been rare events since the release of the 4th gen.

It is the big parties and the big raids which justify MMO's existence. None of which fits into Pokemon with its at most 2 v 2 turn-based strategy.

True but how long before everyone get tired of the 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 fights? Soon they'd add in some crazy feature like a 6v6 fight or someshit, or even real time battles ect ect. And yea let me live in my fantasy world ;_;

Gold and Silver was not better overall than any of that followed. It had a more detailed single player experience, but Pokemon's single player experience mainly sucks anyway. Emerald and Platinum managed trump it.

More importantly, the sequels that followed Gold and Silver upgraded the battle system.

The whole "I can only remember the first 151/251 because they were better" is bullshit. You can only do that because you were younger and gave a shit more and because they were less of them to remember.

In terms of actual pokemon, I still like the original 151/251. I did play Emerald/Platinum and oddly enough I still preferred certain pokemon like Houndoom as my Dark/Fire type, or Gardevoir/Alakazam as my Psychic, etc.

Honestly if you're referring to the whole damn Wifi thing. You can't say that G/S sucked worse than Plat because Wifi wasn't even available on a GBA. I can definately say that this remake will definately be epic. I haven't "not" enjoyed a pokemon game and I loved G/S so it can only mean good news for me, really.

I honestly hated the 2v2 battle system. Mainly cause I picked a fucking Empoleon and gave it Surf and its like every fucking battle I can't use surf cause it rapes my Houndoom. (gg I played with like 3 pokemon in Plat : (

I personally hate the dual-battle system but I can agree what Plat did and made it sort of optional at times where you can individually talk to each trainer instead of running right between their line of sight.

Metagross is the best psychic. Meteor Mash > Mach Punch Alakhzam or Espeon and you're done. Bonus points if Meteor mash grants Metagross Att+

True Earthquake/Flamethrower can hurt it pretty bad but it can usually survive one hit of each before going down.

Why would 'Zam Mach Punch? If you want a fighting attack use Focus Blast, And I believe 'zam can learn Flamethrower/Fire blast, but yea Metagross is a fucking Badass motherfucker

I meant against an Alakazam, Meteor Mash > Mach Punch would be more than enough to kill it. Yeah, Alakzam can learn basically any good special attack, and has high speed. It's not a bad pokemon by any means, I just prefer my Metagross
