I meant against an Alakazam, Meteor Mash > Mach Punch would be more than enough to kill it. Yeah, Alakzam can learn basically any good special attack, and has high speed. It's not a bad pokemon by any means, I just prefer my Metagross

I still feel Metagross is a uber/legendary just for the fact that you only get one, and cant catch him in the wild

Just because something is Legendary doesn't mean it's uber. A lot of the legendaries (birds, psychic trio, celebi, etc) are not considered to be "uber" tier.

Mewtwo isn't technically a legendary(even though cloned from one), but is definitely considered uber. There are a number of ubers without the legendary tags.

He's a Special Sweeper, he might get lucky enough to survive one hit Non-super effective

Yeah I know that but I'd rather my Special Sweeper did not die in one fucking hit. Hell, I starting to think Baton Pass Substitute is useless with my Espeon. Most things one shot it. I'm probably thinking of just giving Espeon another buff or just another attack along with Psychic.

You can breed Metagross with a Ditto, so its definitely not a legend.

Now for about Pokemon, I still remember playing Red/Blue when they came out and it blew me away. I eventually played Yellow, and I believe that's when I stopped playing.

So glad that this is getting redone, I've wanted to play Gen 2 for the longest time, but I can't find either of them anymore. Sad, since my copy of Gold had two completely legal Mews on it. =(

Crystal is the only third game in a Gen that I never played any bit of, and I kinda regret that too. I never got far in Yellow, likewise with Emerald. Platinum would fall in with Crystal so far, but mostly cause I've been po'.

I think an all-regions-available game is why so many of us are so hot about seeing a Pokemon MMO, which seems like the most likely medium for all-region access.

I'd be happy seeing a game with all-region-access(with option of starting region and availability of all applicable gyms, leagues and gangs), regardless of multiplayer status. I wonder if something like that could be pulled off on the DS, or would have be limited to the Wii.

It would be kind of tough but I can see it being done. The issue with putting 4 regions is that by the time you hit the third, your pokemon should be maxed out by then. So they'd either have to make all trainers level 100 or put some sort of level-cap for each region. (First is 50, second is 70, third is 90, fourth is max, etc.)

Today, Filb.de recieved scans of the June issue of CoroCoro. The scans reveal more information about Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. As seen on the scan, there will be updated Ken Sugimori artwork for Gold and the Generation II Pokémon who haven't received one yet, as the stock art for the Pokémon no longer matches the modern artwork of the three other generations. Instead of redesigning Kris, the female player character of Pokémon Crystal, a new female character was created.

The scan also shows the outside of Sprout Tower and the Slowpoke Well. A feature involving three Poké Balls, similar to Platinum's Spin Trade, can be seen as well. It's use in the game is currently unknown though. An item similar to the PokéGear can be seen as well, one for males and the other for females.

As seen on Pokémon Sunday's video, the Pokémon chosen at the start will follow players. Other information regarding this is currently unknown. Below one of the screenshots depicting this shows what will appear on the touch screen as well.

The scan also reveals the Pikachu-colored Pichu obtainable for those who have pre-ordered tickets for the twelfth movie will also play a role in HeartGold and SoulSilver, similar to Regigigas in Platinum. It apparently activates an event within Ilex Forest once transferred.
