The Wifi thing posted a couple of pages back is doing a giveaway of the Toys R Us Arceus right now. Here's the set-up info again for anyone who didn't see it the first time:

1. Start up your copy of Pokemon on you Nintendo DS. Any Gen. IV will work.
2. Got to NINTENDO WIFI CONNECTION SETTINGS
3. Edit the setting for your current connection
4. Set AUTO OBTAIN DNS to NO
5. Set PRIMARY DNS to 99.41.98.43
6. Save your settings
7. Go to the GTS in-game, make sure you have 6 pokemon in your party
8. If it doesn't work, you either don't have 6 pokemon, or the server is busy, and you'll have to try again soon.
9. When you connect you should get your pokemon automatically
10. Disconnect from the GTS and enjoy.

Couple questions 1) does it work in canada
2) so Gen IV meang HG works^
3)What are the dates for the events^
4) the GTS is the thing in the goldenrod city right^

so i got my Wireless Access Point thing in the mail today, little WIFI link USB contraption needless to say installing this thing is a HUGE pain in my ass i cant get it to work with sharing the connection. anyone have one of these/have any advice on getting this damn thing to work?

Its a workaround that lets you connect to some guy's private server rather than Nintendo's when you connect to the GTS. It should work regardless of where you are. The guy changes up the giveaway all the time, so the offer is probably done by now.

I just tried this a couple times and I'm getting a could not connect error. Is this only up at certain times or perhaps taken down already? I just want an Arceus so I can do the event at the ruins.

I'm not looking for legendarys or anything like that, like I said before I prefer bred Pokemons but anything goes really.
I am currently looking for any 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen Pokemons (in their non-evolved form). I prefer 4th gen, as they are something I can't look for in the GTS yet.
I can offer 1st and 2nd gen starters, Eevees, and some pretty special male bred Bagons with Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance and Aerial Ace.

Just need to get one of those USB wireless access point things since my current Access point uses WPA =/ Any suggestions for one?

You mean the nintendo USB connector? I still have mine and have to use it when at home but VISTA seems to give me issues sometimes with it still... it is discontinued if I remember correctly.

i dont recommend getting the WIFI link USB one you see on Ebay. i got one last week and i still cant get it working for me, keeps telling me shit about my IP Address

Just making sure for those who have the problem with the USB stick follow these steps

1) Make sure you have Windows XP if you don't well stop there it won't work

2)Install the CD you got with the key and proceed to install

3)Insert the USB stick when mentionned

4) let the install finish

5) when it's finished open the DS and go into network setings and say you wanna connect to the USB stick

6) open the program on your PC that came with the USB and check that your DS is trying to connect

7) authorize the username from the program

8) Grats your USB stick should be working now

I don't know, it's pretty hit and miss. I think it might also block you from connecting if you've already recieved the event pokemon once, I'm not sure. Sometimes I get in on the first try, other times I can't get in period. But I did get in for the flinch 'Sparce perfectly fine about 5 minutes after I made the post.
