Yeah, I can't remember where I read from that it was introduced in HGSS, sorry about that.
Anyway, it's pretty straightforward; you just need two Pokemons that have been "created" in cartridges from different language regions.

I traded a japanese Ditto from GTS for both my Pearl and HG. They are pretty easy to find.

    Quick legendary question

-Are you able to capture them without a Masterball?

Because i only have 1 Masterball and i can<t catch all the legendary with just 1 ball

(unless i keep restarting my game, but that would take forever

Yes. All legendary Pokemons have a very low catch rate. As a reference, Rattata has a catch rate of 255 (max) while Zapdos has a catch rate of 3. As such, you will need to do a few things to increase those odds; first of all Dusk Balls are the best for catching legendarys, but they only work in caves and during night. You will need to damage the Pokemon enough to leave it with as little HP as possible (preferably 1 HP) and use a status effect. Frozen and Sleep multiply your chance by 2, while Poison/Burn/Paralyze multiply your chance by 1.5.
You can read more about it here if you are interested in undestanding the catch rate even better: http://serebii.net/games/capture.shtml

Put up a ditto you caught and ask for a ditto. People from other countries, especially Japanese, are looking for Masuda pokemon as well, and I have found that ditto->ditto is the fastest way to get a pokemon of different origin.

Take off the Lum Berries so that you don't waste them on the Elite Four, and take the Choice Specs off of Magmortar. At 55+ you should be fine to roll over the elite four with type coverage like that, there's no need to force yourself into useless switches with Magmortar (thus extending the fights for no good reason) by using the specs.

If you've EV trained them all properly the Elite Four's pokemon won't even stand a chance.

Agreeing with above poster regarding Lum Berries- not worth wasting :3-

I'm not a fan of having more than one of the same type of move on a pokemon (e.g Shock Wave and Discharge)- Maybe swap a few moves out for better type coverage. My recommendations:

    Magmoartar:
If you're using choice specs swap out Sunny Day for a fourth special move, or get rid of specs entirely and ditch sunny day for Wil-o-wisp.

    Electrive:
I usually use Electrive as a physical attacker with Ice and Thunder Punches, Cross chop and Earthquake, but if you're going for a special set, I would get rid of Discharge, Shock Wave and Screech and replace them with Psychic, Signal Beam and Thunder Wave.

    Garchomp:
Swap out Dragon Rush for Swords dance and chose between Dragon Claw and Outrage- personal preference. I like Dragon Claw because confusion with a Swords Dance up huuuuuuuuuurts. Teach it either Shadow claw, Aqua Tail, or Crunch in the last slot.

    Tyranitar:
Looks fine, but give its leftovers to Snorlax.

    Snorlax:
Give Snorlax your Tyranitar's leftovers, ditch Giga Impact, Block and Rollout and replace with Rest, Body Slam, and either Sleep Talk or Ice Punch.

    Dragonite:
Ditch the Lum Berry and Dragon Rush. Replace with Aqua Tail and a Dragon Fang if ya still have it.

Just want to comment on using Outrage on Garchomp and give the berry to cure confusion. It will tear through everything that doesn't resist it.

lol, you'll be fine. I beat Elite 4 using Feraligatr level 50 and Dragonair, Stantler, Gengar, Ho-Oh and Gligar levels 40-45. Your team will steamroll them.

I'm a bigger fan of using Electivire as a mixed sweeper, but I'll admit that mixed is much harder to pull off compared to physical. Solid advice though, however you use him, take advantage of his massive movepool and type coverage. Especially if you can work in the Boltbeam combo with either Thunderbolt/HP Ice or Thunder Punch/Ice Punch.

I'm not totally opposed to the idea of a mixed Electrive- it's a big shock (excuse the pun) to opponents who swap into physical walls as a counter, but I run a Scarfed Typhlosion and a Specs Kingdra already, so I have pretty good special coverage

How well does Typhlosion work as a special sweeper anyhow? I always thought his special movepool was a little too shallow to be too enticing.
