Haha, those guitar mini games had some really nice music, but shit some of the tracks were hard. I loved the game, despite it being balls off the wall crazy. I only bought it cause it was the first PS2 RPG that looked decent, and FFX wasn't out yet.

Oh man, totally not alone on Snowboard Kids. I think I only played the first, but ..well now I need to break out the N64 emulator. If only Pokemon Snap wasn't fucked up while trying to play that too. :c

Seen a lot of titles I completely agree with in this thread and a lot of ppl putting games in here that were extremely popular from their release (if you thought you were the only one that played Star Ocean you are dumb). But i didnt see this one at all:

Also to the people who posted Ring Of Red, Parasite Eve and Vanguard Bandits... those games were sick. Really good games.

Did you ever play Valkyria Chronicles? I always wanted to play that because of how much it reminded me of Ring of Red and even more so because of the great ratings and reviews it has. If so, are they at all similar?

When Valkyria Chronicles first came out, I looked at it and thought "this game looks horrible there's no way i'm playing." then i kept hearing great things about it. ended up buying it and have not regretted it.

VC is nothing like RoR, but it is a must play in my honest opinion. Great gameplay and great story. totally worth it.
