There was already 2 sequels wasn't there? I never actually played it but always meant to. I fucking loved that D&D Xbox game (Heroes I think?), more hack and slash is always good.

The only Sequel I remember is Redeemer I think? Which fucking sucked compared to original one, to me at least.

oh it's The Grinder (also made by High Voltage), which is still a first person shooter on Wii but apparently the 360/ps3 versions are going to be top-down just like the Hunter games

I wikipedia'd this rq to see what kinda reviews it got, were sub-par and most people have never heard of this when I bring it up so I assume it fits into this topic. I loved this game to death and just beat it in one sitting two days ago.

Never been much of a PC gamer, so idk if this is popular or not. My brother brought home a bunch of PC demo discs a long time ago, and Disciples 1 was on it. I loved it. It wasn't for another ~10 years that I found the game on GOG, and actually played the full version (which I still haven't beaten).

Disciples was a beautiful game! Heroes clone, but much better than that! Sadly, it never got as popular.

Still, if you like the genre, I suppose you should check Heroes of Might and Magic out.

And Blackthrone was awesome! I was a huge Flashback fan back then and I really enjoyed its style.

Lagoon for SNES. I've never even heard of another person who's played it, but I loved this game when I was a kid. Total LttP clone, but this was before I knew what Zelda was.

I have awful yet awesome memories of that game. I think it's only good through nostalgia goggles, but it was certainly fun at the time. the difficulty level was off the charts though, and there was way too much mindless grinding for an action RPG.
