The thing is, he is a genuinely fun guy who as far as I know absolutely loves the character. It's just a shame some of the movies he's been involved with have been dumpster fires.

Seriously though, I've always read manga over comics from middle school til damn near 30s. I just preferred the style. My first official comic series was Death of Spiderman which I read recently after being somewhat directed to by the comics thread. It's been hit or miss with what I'm picking on my own and suggestions I get but there's still some good stuff.
And no one thus far has recommended a (in their opinion) a decent Deadpool arc to read and get acquainted with.
