It's like that time in Amazing Spider-Man #611 where Deadpool makes a crack at Spider-Man about seeing him again in Deadpool #19, which was still a few months from being published.

Totally immersion breaking knowing that Spider-Man would still exist in a couple months and really ruined my enjoyment.

It's never stated where this takes place in the timeline if at all. I think Colossus was included to garner attention of the typical movie goer who will confuse this with the typical x-men film. I'm sure there will be much bitching if Wolverine doesn't show up one way or another.

I would rather it be more subtle. Like he walks by him unknowingly, turns around, and then goes up to him and says "You sure do get around" or something to that effect.
