Yeah, cause Fox loves following the already written story.
i cant believe this is actually being discussed
Myrrh, this discussion, I really have to say is pretty pants on head retarded even for you. We are arguing spoilers for one movie due to another where the character even knows he's in a comic book and has broken the fourth wall multiple times in not just the comics, but in video games like MvC 3.
It's like that time in Amazing Spider-Man #611 where Deadpool makes a crack at Spider-Man about seeing him again in Deadpool #19, which was still a few months from being published.
Totally immersion breaking knowing that Spider-Man would still exist in a couple months and really ruined my enjoyment.
Wait is anyone actually expecting the xmen to stop being a thing in modern times after Apocalypse??
lolwut.
Oh, I'm serious nerd bitching. No doubt about it. I'm not saying Deadpool won't be amazing though.
Also, I haven't really been a big fan of the Xmen movies. So, really, anything to complain about it, I guess
Moreso was curious if these were in the same universe. At least to me, just because he says X-Men, doesn't mean we'll get to see a Jackman/Reynolds thumb wrestle match.
It's never stated where this takes place in the timeline if at all. I think Colossus was included to garner attention of the typical movie goer who will confuse this with the typical x-men film. I'm sure there will be much bitching if Wolverine doesn't show up one way or another.
He'll probably break the fourth wall by informing us we are in the non suck universe and the X-Men couldn't be here yet. Bonus if he makes a touches little boys joke at Singers expense.
My wish for 4th wall breakage:
Deadpool runs into Stan Lee and says "I fucking loved you in spiderman. And thor. And iron man. And captain america. And guardians of the galaxy. And. . . .holy shit you get around mr. heffner!"
Stan Lee makes a cameo as a strip club DJ.
Spoiler: show
Given that it says "cinematic return" and "mouth: unsewn" I'm guessing there will be at least one fourth wall break where he writes off the events of Origins in some way or another as non-canon.
