Saw this last night with wifey in IMAX. We both loved the movie. She actually wants to see it again (which is really fuckin rare with a superhero movie). Most annoying part was how many parents brought their 6-12 year old kids.

I was sat about 4-5 seats down from a 75ish year old lady and (presumably) her grandson. That only enhanced the experience for me.
Wow initially they were hoping for 70 mil weekend. 120~ is nuts.
I'm about to go see it but I have a friend bitching on Facebook about how he hated the movie because "IT DIDN'T FOLLOW THE ORIGIN 1000000%" and, i swear to god, I'm not making this up. I'll fucking post the Facebook chat to prove it....."the fact that he snorted gun smoke from TWO guns when he only fired one."
Our fun started before the movie even did. Bought tickets for 5 seats, and when we got there of them were taken by someone else. They had the right seat numbers but their tickets were for Sunday, not Friday. The look the girl gave her boyfriend when she realized the fuckup was priceless.
Current highest for an r rated is 90ish right?
I can't believe there was a Bob cameo I was so happy
Someone complaining that it didn't follow Deadpool's origin exactly is quite amusing, since one of his defining characteristics is that his origin has never been properly defined. It's still not even clear (25 years after being introduced) in the comics if he's actually Canadian or a US born citizen.
And yes, the Bob appearance was amazing, I feel bad for non comic readers who don't understand just how awesome that part was.
Just finished watching it. Holy fuck it was hilariously awesome. I'd say Winter Soldier and this are my two top super hero movies now
Usually I roll my eyes when getting dragged to a comic book movie cause they're being churned out repeatedly and aren't exactly deep movies half the time, but this movie was fucking great. I would go see a Deadpool 2 in a heartbeat. Liked this one a lot better with all of its humor/self awareness/etc instead of just being a 2 hour block of CGI action porn attempting to be super serious.
My mom, a hyper-conservative mormon woman, just asked me to go see it with her next week. I don't think she even realizes it's rated R, she just thinks it's another comic movie. This is going to be great.
Obligatory "This movie was great!" post.
All through the movie I was thinking "There can't be this much gore in a comic book superhero movie" and yet here it is.
Also, to people who are nitpicking at this like a 3 day old scab, just let it go. It's Deadpool. He gets a pass.
Spoiler: show
I will totally nitpick that the full frontal nudity was pretty obscured, could barely even see the penis.
Some real nice racks in there though.
Fucking awesome. Saw on the 100ft screen last night. Was so happy it wasn't in 3D.
Audience was laughing so hard I think a few people pissed themselves a bit.
