Ryan Reynolds has repeatedly made overt hints that he did it, though consistently denies it when asked straight up.
So I'm seeing Deadpool's actual US opening weekend was $150 mil? Original projections were $70 mil xD
Edit: oh nvm that includes the extra monday
132 mil still damn good.
I really badly want a Wolverine cameo.
Saw it, loved it.

I love that R ratings finally mean something again.
That makes things so much easier. Thanks!
Did they ever not? Hollywood mostly goes nuts to avoid that rating because of box office figures. Any R rated movie either means they want people to know it's adult oriented, or they suck at dancing around the edge of getting it.
As much as I'd love that, I doubt it. PG-13 is still safe and bankable, Deadpool only exists because that test video resonated with the built in fanbase and R-isms aside, Deadpools still a superhero movie which casts a wide net.
The shoestring budget --> massive returns only worries me into thinking that we'll be trying to catch Paranormal Activity in a bottle again with endless garbage being released to cash in on the R. I have far more faith in worthy R material in the realm of streaming.
Apparently Wolverine is getting the R as well.
Better still, backs up (DP falls off), guns it (running over Deadpool).
"Still an asshole."
Hahahaha. Fuck yeah.
