Garrison Kane, Sluggo, and Wire were supposed to be in the film, but were dropped due to Budget reasons

They were Ajax’s sidekicks – they’re all good characters. [Deadpool creator] Rob Liefield is still crying because Garrison Kane’s not in the movie, and Wire had one of the single best jokes in the script ever; his death was pretty epic. But I felt like, honestly – and this is not pandering – I wanted some more women in the movie. And so I wanted to replace them with a female superhero, or supervillain in Gina [Carano]'s case.

They were Ajax’s muscle and we ultimately for budget reasons consolidated those three characters into the Angel Dust character. And I think a lot had to do with there’s some CG elements to those characters. Garrison Kane has a bionic arm for instance, and that was going to be expensive. Wire shoots wires out of his extremities. We had a really cool scene where he was fighting Deadpool and Deadpool was cutting through the wires with his swords, but all expensive and all CG, and when it came time to make the movie we just had to make some hard, hard decisions.

Maybe, maybe, they were fun, and their abilities were cool. Sluggo is just a strongman so maybe a little less so with him, but Wire was really interesting and fun to watch onscreen, at least in our heads.

While it may have been nice to have those characters, the movie probably was better because of the reduced cast. More time to expand on what matters and less fluff

Local news in Utah, Deadpool related.

According to Utah Code, an establishment that serves alcohol is forbidden to show a film that depicts a simulated sexual act, or shows a person being touched on their privates, or displaying genitals.

Reynolds, the actor who plays Deadpool in Fox's blockbuster, joked on Twitter, "Thank god, they've found a way to legislate fun."

Later Sunday Reynolds, or at least someone using his name, donated $5,000 to Brewvies' campaign.
