jeez, don't lose faith so quickly. a lot of it is going to depend on who the creative team is. Gore isn't what makes deadpool a great character. Shit deadpool hasnt been a great character in 5 years. If it's a shitty movie it will be because it has a shitty creative team

I am just happy this is finally getting done. However with 2 red flags on it (pg13 & Fox) I just gotta make sure to keep my personal hype level low or risk heavy disappointment. That said, barring some really really stupid bad news, totally plan to see this in theatre opening weekend.

Well that's a disappointment. Sure Deadpool may not be about gore, but hilarious kills/seeing Deadpool get decapitated are always enjoyable.

Maybe this can be like Bay's TMNT where internet backlash changed the stupid script. Let's hope it can do it for the Pg-13 bullcrap.

Having this be Pg-13 is like having Kickass or Watchmen be Pg-13. It just can't work without being a massive waste of time

It still could be good even if it is PG-13 it just depends on how they do it. Some movies with the rating have pushed the envelope with what can be shown. Like everyone else I'm still hoping for an R rating though.

A director/writer had a convo w/ movie execs about the rating of his film (R). It had a total of 2 fucks, and if he removed 1 they'd get it to PG-13.
