I really miss samoas. Where I live now, we only get caramel delites. Yes, they are different. I'm not sure how they are different exactly, but I swear the samoas are more chewy and have more caramel. They also are a slightly different color if I remember correctly. Needless to say, if you get samoas, you are lucky. If you have only ever had caramel delites, you are missing out.

Found this really easy recipe for lazy cooks out there:
Thin Mints Recipe
I'd suggest using a double-boiler or a similar method (buoyant bowl in pot on very warm water of the stove) instead of the microwave because it doesn't melt the chocolate the same, and unless you're very quick, the chocolate will harden midway and you might have to remelt which affects the consistency even more. Also, since the chocolate is quite warm, don't be a tard like this person and use your fingers, use a fork or toothpicks. :D

There's really nothing to discuss here. Samoas are manna from heaven. Tag-a-longs are pretty heavenly as well.

All I know is I'm thrilled one of my roommates has a girl scout cookie "connect" so there's a constant supply at home!
