I think older people and college students everywhere can be pretty bad drivers. Europe is probably the exception. I heard how hard it is to get a driver's license over there and that if you get a ticket, how much you pay depends on how much money you make 8). Now that's progressive

Seriously, I-75 going from Ft Myers to Naples is the fucking worst. 2 lanes each way, with people who go 15 miles an hour under the speed limit, and those who go 20 over. Not to mention all the fucking construction to make it 3 lanes.

I can't wait for school to start back up so I don't have to drive on 75 to work.

Also, no one at my school can fucking park straight. They whip their car in and don't correct it, at all. I'll have to take pictures, it's ridiculous.

I grew up in Florida, my family is from New York, and I live in Los Angeles now.

Everyone who says Los Angeles and New York have the worst drivers is full of shit. There's a distinct difference between stop-and-go traffic -- which I personally found to be far worse on I-95 than LA's highways -- and people who are used to that, to jack-offs who drive like they're on an LSD-fueled meth trip at all times.

This guy in a white Ford pickup decides to just pull directly from the driveway infront of me where there was literally no space at all. I have to slam on my brakes to prevent myself from slamming into the back of him. I blare on my horn and I see him give me the finger through his rear windshield.

At the next intersection its a red light and he decides to make a right turn without stopping or looking. He makes the turn but is going so fast he ends up in the left most lane side swiping a car in the process. The truck loses control and hits a cerment light post head on.

Sweet sweet revenge.

This reminds me of what happened two weeks ago. I was pulling out of my campus and some whore that I know (partied with her the weekend before, not partied WITH her, but saw her there...) was right behind me. She was riding my ass the whole way out of campus because the other people around my dorms walk around like retards and they are like birds who never get out of the way. Anyways, when I get onto the street she goes OVER the double yellow, passing me she flips me off for going slow I guess?

And the sweetest part...

While looking at me and flicking me off? Another car was turning into her lane (across the double yellow, lol) and she was looking and me and she t-boned the guy while being in the wrong lane, lolol. I heard she is getting sued big time obviously, she crashed into a 2009 BMW.

Id say say its a nice tie between LA drivers who stick their noses completely into the fucking intersection while waiting to make their right on red and causing me to actually have to swerve to miss them, or people in Jersey who just dont know what the fuck is suppose to be happening. ie no signals, stopping in the middle of traffic to crane their head around to find a parking spot. etc...

New Jersey has a history of harboring the worst drivers in the entire country. It isn't simply motorists' observations, but it's also according to various tests, such as anonymous surveys questioning familiarity with traffic regulations.

Too many people don't know the difference between bad traffic and bad drivers. I would rather drive every day in a large city (SF/LA/etc) than once a week in any inbetween college/retirement town.

Fucking this, I-75 is one of the biggest cockteases in the interstate system. Around Orlando you get a delicious 20 minute stretch of 4-5 lanes of freedom, and then WHAM, 2 lanes of semis and legally blind 90-year-olds doing 20 under the speed limit all the way home.

I drive from Gainesville to Naples to visit my parents, and it takes anywhere from 4-7 hours to get home depending purely on how many snow birds are out that day.
