Just wondering, what path is everyone taking on their first play? I'm doing good right now, then evil.

evil
evil first, always
Friend just got this from wallmart, gunna see how the finished product is.
So far the demo gives me the impression of Crackdown PS3 version, complete with Hyped beta, Not to say it's a bad thing, I love crackdown, I even still play it.
Picked up my pre-order, and now playing. Will be going the goody-twoshoe route myself on first playthrough, and given this game is entirely single-player, I'm going to bother going for the Platinum trophy, so I hope this game holds up to my expectations.
(almost *every* game I own with trophy support that has an online mode always include bullshit "need to play 300+ hours" type of cumulative trophy, ex. 10k Kills, hitting a specific high-Rank {GG Killzone2}, and etc)
Really loving the speed of which you move about in this game, nice and fast, none of the slow-pokery of GTA4 here.
[EDIT] On mission 9 now (same as Insane right below me), and I'm just loooooving this game, will certainly be playing through it on both sides of the karma spectrum. One of the few games to make legit use of the grandaddy of all gameplay rules being 'water kills you'.
Stopped at 9. Mind Games for now game is great
Whelp, wish I knew that earlier. Gigawatt Blades DLC needs to be activated after running the game at least once. ;/
Here's a question for those already playing: Are you warned beforehand about which missions trigger karmic shifts? I remember during the demo looking at the map, seeing side missions, then getting slapped around with 'SURPRISE YOU'RE NOW EVIL' with no obvious way how to get back to the Light Side of The Force. Are you constantly trapped with 'OH HEY NOW YOU'RE THE OPPOSITE ALIGNMENT' at the start of certain missions or do you get more forewarning in the full retail? Does it even matter, as healing/not killing in evil ways swings the pendulum harder than what missions you take?
Or was the demo just showing off evil powers with the one side quest it gives you?
Red ! will be evil missions while Blue will be good and Neutral are normal yellow. Depending on the good or evil mission you will get exp points and slowly go to that side of the semi-circle. I'm currently Thug on the evil side.
Not had any 'surprise' karma moments, as they're always clearly indicated when the 'choice' moments come up, and there's the good/evil quests as Insanecycle mentioned.
Only time where I've gotten evil karma (we're talking little bits here) is when pedestrians get in the way of my shock ground stomps.
Also I'm doing every sidequest available before moving the story and I have 78% done for the first area
I need a ps3 for shit like this.
Just redownload and install the DLC if you did it prior to running, it'll show up as the far-right powerup in your power menu next time you play.
This game is slowly becoming my GOTY in terms of single-player games, and if not that, it's damn well the best super-hero game I've ever played.
So much fun just running/grinding about town and messing hooligans up. I feel like a powerful badass, but not invincible, and in a good way. Only thing I wish was done with this game was a two month delay just to polish the visuals up a bit.
Also hoping the Sly4 teasers in the game will becoming a reality soon enough, hopefully @ E3.
[EDIT] Woohoo, Static Thrusters obtained, time to have some real fun,...
Talk about infamous gas prices

The proprietors were diligent in their price hikes despite the ravenous lawlessness in town. That's dedication to your job.
How many more powers are there than in the demo?
There are about about 13 not including melee, the defense boost and the sucking electricity out of things, I'm on the third island now since I've had the game since Saturday only missing one power.
Really loving this game, surprised it turned out to be this good and like Kaisha was saying, I love how he doesn't feel too powerful so there's an actual challenge.
