Does auto-regain do anything?

Seriously. I have a wamoura with capped auto-regain versus a bunny. Bunny uses whirl claws SEVEN FUCKING TIMES in thirty seconds, and mine uses flutter once.

I can't be certain, but it seems to me that auto-regain only affects a particular move... the one associated with the command "Give 'em more bite!"

I base this off of my ghost that has auto-regain and a crab I once had with it. Ectosmash and bubble shower would get spammed after giving that command which is great for the ghost, but terrible for the crab. Any other TP moves seemed to require normal tp gain from hitting or being hit.

So, perhaps your current temperament or command is causing it to want to use flutter, but that isn't the one associated with auto-regain.
