So basically dude comes on to BG thinking it's LiveJournal and doesn't at all actually care about what's could possibly be going on from her point of view but would rather sit there in self-pitying ignorance. And write letters about it that, I agree with Chuyu, he'll most-likely regret. Ah well. *golf clap*

One day this kid will grow up and think about this , he'll see how stupid he sounds right now >.>.
Sad thing is by the time he gets over this, he'll waste two maybe three of his life.

Rip that letter up. Dont look back. You do not owe her or anyone any apology.
Stop worrying about others, and put yourself first for a change.

You're ditching someone you say you love in a letter? That's pretty harsh lol. Man up and do it in person.

Alt you need to do it face to face. Not to man up as everyone else is saying, but so you get some closure on the subject. You need to tell her face to face that you love her but you're done with this and it's time for you to move on. Trust me on this, do it in person. Get that small bit of closure so you're not always wondering what may have happened if you did it in person etc.

    Just an update:

I went to a friend's house today. Just so happen my friend is a girl and I've known her for 5 years. Stayed there from 10am to 12am... 14hours. The first 8hours it was just us two the entire time. Nothing happened. Tomorrow I will write a goodbye letter for my first love. I'll never forget her nor will I stop loving her. I know that she will do the same (despite all the she ditched you for another d00d comments. As I said, we weren't your typical teenage relation.) However... it's done.

Note: If you pwn, you pwn. pwnin is livin. (stole that from a good friend hope he doesn't mind)
Yes, you'll forget her, and yes, you'll stop loving her. God damn you need some new pussy.

It just depends on how quickly they grow. 18 doesn't necessarily mean "drama queen".
Much agreed, but this doesn't happen to be the OP's case. All parties involved in this drama have some serious growing up to do, even the mother.

Glad he's finally moving on to someone else. No good in wallowing.

I was going to type a response..

..then realized he wouldn't read it anyhow like the last few pages and he'd send the retarded regretful letter anyway.

Marrying your high school sweetheart (and staying married) isn't an exception to the rule at all. There are two people alone in this thread (Ivve and I) who both married their high school loves (and are still married) and we both acknowledge that it was stupid. The person you marry at 18-19 isn't the same person you are still married to at even 23-24. Sometimes it's fine, and it still works out...sometimes it doesn't. I wish (and I tell my wife this) that I was single throughout my younger years. While your friends may not be as open as Ivve and I (well, we're somewhat anonymous anyway), I think your friends, behind closed doors, would acknowledge that they wish they'd of been single until their mid 20's.

Listen to Tyche. If you think you are going to be the same person at 18 than you will be at 26 you are completely wrong. Been there done that.

Agreed. I'm definitely more bitter and realistic now than I was at 18.

Yeah kuro, I don't disagree that some people mature faster than others, etc., but that's such a ridiculously small majority that it can hardly be used as a justification against the "18 year olds who say they're in love are retarded, since all of them think they're in love but never are" theory. 99% of people don't get married straight out of high school. 99% of people just think that, like whoever just said, their "love" is the cat's pajamas and will never die when they have no idea what the fuck love is. So I still stand by my original point that people can't know what love is for a very long time - whether it's in their 20s, I don't know, but it sure isn't before then. Oh, and I don't profess at all to know what love is so don't think I'm presuming that.

Ignore her. It will either get her back or it won't, but it's the only thing that will. She's probably just using your unemployment as an excuse to do whatever she wants. When ignoring her doesn't work, fuck her friend.

I blame the fictional depiction of love that's been force fed on this or any generation tbh.
