Royal Jelly Issue

So, I've been doing RJ runs with some LS mates for a few weeks now. We all have a nice buffer of seals, and the jobs to take this BC on pretty easily. Anyone who has done it before knows how easy it is with a couple of DRG and a WHM, because the Jellies move so slowt that they almost never get to become the queen jelly, right?

Anyway, just yesterday we did four runs. Today we gathered up again to do more, and something is definitely different. The jellies were moving super fast. Three of them were in the middle by the time we got to the third jelly. Queen Jelly spawned when there were still about four to go, and though we got her almost to 0%, her damn AOEs kicked our asses eventually.

Kind of frustrating. Anyway, the only thing that I noticed that was weird is that when we went into the BC we were Quickened (Kupofried Event). Has anyone else done this BC today and noticed this? Is it a glitch? Or is this just a ninja change SE didn't tell us about?

I mean, I didn't think that Quickening was it really. Just maybe a glitch or ninja edit, but I was noting the coincidence. Basically just checking to see if anyone else had noticed this.

I noticed farming Norg fame on my mule yesterday that those Yagudo in Giddeus were fast as all hell. They normally are pretty fast to begin with, but they seemed faster yesterday evening.

Desideratum: Do you have logs that indicate (or roughly indicate) when you entered the BC and when the queen spawned? Even if there isn't a chat log message that the queen spawned, it would be good enough if you could just find the first line of text where the queen is mentioned.

If you have this info, compare it to a log from a previous RJ run (or a future RJ run when quickening bonus is currently unavailable).

It's not just you. Mobs in passive state seem to get the Quickening effect too, though they lose it under the same conditions a player would (so kiting functions normally). Kept thinking I had aggroed things earlier; the enhanced movement speed is hard to distinguish from normal running.

So what would be a good way to work around that? Diaga all of the jellies or something to stop the quickening?
