What is sleep?
Do a lot of physical activity during the day to get tired faster. Or you could go and force yourself to wake up earlier. I can pretty much change my sleep schedual on a whim that way.
Have you guys ever tried sweet potatoe french fries? Now thats some good shit.
shits
A blend of salt and roasted Sichuan peppercorn is a nice way to add a different kind of heat, but I suspect you might lack the latter.
If you have a wal-mart near you, look for these french fries in an orange bag labeled "seasoned fries great value" buy those. Cook them on a cookie sheet until they are brown on the bottom and stiff. Crunchy fucking delicious fries :Q
Try franks red hot sauce on them...its orgasmic.
Some people (like myself) use adobo or other kinds of spices available (provided they taste good.)
- 2 1/2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup water, or as needed
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
- Slice potatoes into French fries, and place into cold water so they won't turn brown while you prepare the oil.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. While the oil is heating, sift the flour, garlic salt, onion salt, (regular) salt, and paprika into a large bowl. Gradually stir in enough water so that the mixture can be drizzled from a spoon.
- Dip potato slices into the batter one at a time, and place in the hot oil so they are not touching at first. The fries must be placed into the skillet one at a time, or they will clump together. Fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Spices and herbs are amazing for seasoning anything. If you have some olive oil, and don't mind baking them, you can toss the potatoes in it, add some oregano and maybe some basil, and then add some mozzarella or cheddar, too.
EDIT: Yeah, a small quantity of garlic and onion powder/salt would be a good addition to this, too.
Trust me man, you have to try them they are so delicious, its soooooo good.
Oh fuck yeah, cheddar is good on them too.
Poutine is also a god tier food.
This Tex-Mex restaurant here does a variation on poutine that uses a cheese blend + chili baked with fries. It's basically like chili cheese fries on steroid. I've never had it, but it sounds amazing.
