Runs fine in fullscreen though which is what I'm currently doing, albeit the interface looks like it's been beat with an ugly stick running at...........656x496?

Anyways, anyone here ever had a similar problem/solution? When running windowed (vanilla POL here, I don't windower), it shows the usual POL slash screen, then crashes pointing to POL.exe. Did a file check with it in fullscreen, no probs, been wondering what other options I'd have other than a full reinstall of it and all of bloody FFXI alongside.

Running the latest nVidia drivers here (v185.85) if that matters, since nVidia drivers are prone to breaking random shit.

[EDIT] Starting to think my vid drivers are the culprit here, having problems on more than one application. Rollback time!

[EDIT2] Fixed it, wasn't my nVidia drivers, but the driver I installed recently for my monitor so WinXP would quit looking at it as a standard Plug&Play. Apparently the programmers from the manufacturer (LG) fucking blow at writing drivers, as it caused me to not be allowed to select my monitor's native resolution in games (1920x1200).
