I'm not a fan of American Idol, but I walked over to the TV to see her awful performance of Waking Up In Vegas.

Honestly, she's fit for some drunken karaoke at the best, she doesn't even really have appearance going for her. Just some money, a decent autotuner that is clearly not working quite well enough, and some publicity.


And for whoever watched it, what the hell is with her eyes? Singing, not a staring contest.

yeah but she has a bitchin live show and she lip syncs to cover it up. she's a performer; i can't really fault her for sounding like shit when she's fucking grinding all up on her dancers and twirling around on a rope above the stage. at least she's doing something.

katy perry need to lip sync if she can't sing live and roll out some cirque du soleil type shit to keep it interesting.

Nononono, Ivve -- everyone knows she lip syncs while she dances and whatnot, but she did a slow song live once (they showed the concert on HBO or some shit idk) and actually SANG a slow song. She wasn't doing any dancing either, just sitting there. And she was so flat it was nauseating. SO flat -- like, "I am completely tone deaf" flat. It was terrible. I had this friend who was the biggest fan of hers and upon seeing this, he stopped liking her so much. She's a good dancer, and they fix her voice in the studio, but she has a terrible voice.
