It's EDT (PDT for PST). And no, GMT does not observe daylight savings. UK time is GMT in the winter and GMT+1 in the summer. GMT itself is constant and never actually changes.

The problem is that right now the US East Coast is 5 hours behind GMT, right? I am going to look this shit up, because now I am confused.

Yes, I was right. The World Clock - Time Zones

London is currently 5 hours ahead of Washington, D.C. EST is GMT -5, right now. So the update is Noon to 2PM EST.

EDT is EST+1 and 5 hours behind British Summer Time which is GMT+1. The switch to EDT occurs before the switch to BST so at some points of the year there is a difference of only 4 hours. Compare that to Caracas which is either 30minutes ahead or behind EST or EDT depending on the time of year and whether or not Rocl is wearing red or green trousers at any given moment.

I hope this clarifies the situation and anyway maintenance is going to be extended.
