I don't see what is so hard about this.

If you want to figure out EST/EDT, click on the USA link on playonline.com. The USA portion always posts stuff in PST/PDT. PST/PDT is ALWAYS 3 hours ahead of EST/EDT. So just add 3 hours to the PST/PDT times, and you get your EST/EDT times.

No need to convert GMT or GMT+1, especially coming from a company that doesn't even take into account GMT+1, as Hwang said before.

You people are seriously making this harder than it is. PST + 3 = EST.

For all of you idiots that are absolutely baffled by daylight savings time and it's relation to your life and the rest of the world, just say ET/CT/MT/PT/whatever ... even though it's not technically accurate, other more intelligent life forms will know you are speaking of the current instance of DST or non-DST whatever it may be.

There was a thread earlier this week about this issue. It's not the fact that players get bonuses in BCNM's that is the issue, but rather certain NM's in BCNM's having the movement speed effect when they aren't supposed to. It's a mistake that needs to be corrected, unless you want NM's in BCNM's to have an advantage...they are doing us a favor by fixing it, which is by far a bigger issue than "fixing" Kings.

Question should be: Why does SE update PST to PDT in the summer, but doesn't update GMT (to BST).

Maint times should just be posted in PST/GMT OR PDT/BST. Not PDT/GMT, whcih seems to confuse someone every time.

Wrong. The UK is currently in BST which is GMT +1.
Many people think that GMT is "what time it is in London right now". It isn't. So SE are posting the times correctly.
