Hey thanks for the spellcast. Quick question. What sort of healing breath numbers am I going to be looking at with very similar gear to yours? Main thing I am lacking is af legs+1. I'm seeing some 510s right now but that seems kind of low. Not sure if the delays are working for me etc.

My base Healing Breath with no wyvern exp or TP bonus is 431. With a Giant's Drink transferred with Empathy my base is 600. I don't have Deep Breathing merited.

510ish with wyvern exp sounds all right? A friend of mine was talking about hitting 650s, but not sure how true that was.

510ish sounds right. Your friend probably wasn't accounting for any TP bonus.

I think the biggest issue is with the AF+1 legs since it has to calculate the HP bonus. I don't know about spellcast, but from what I know, macroing HP+ items before HP+% items is more reliable.

From my experience, it seems to be that the game doesn't check wyvern HP very often. It's very consistent that HP+ gear will take effect at the same time as my wyvern takes a swing. When he stops attacking to charge up a breath, the time to update his HP can vary wildly. I don't know any way around this, other than anticipating both wyvern and mob attack speeds.
