    You NEED both for the SCH XML to work. I brushed up the rules (Found I needed to order them better to avoid contradicting actions) and changed the huge list of SCH JAs to type="Scholar" (I just learned about that while reviewing the rules).

    Thank you kindly for this. While my significant other has taken coding in college, the sheer amount of work that would have been required to create a SCH XML from scratch seemed insane, especially since I knew someone out there must have already created one. I am grateful you've not only provided it, but have touched it up as well.

    I'll start using it happily, once PasteBin returns to the world of the living.

    Unfortunately, the above provided SCH XML crashes my FFXI on every load. I believe there's something wrong on my end, as I'm not sure what to name the secondary "include" XML in order for it to be referenced. I've never used an additional XML file before.

    Would anyone have any idea what is causing the crash?

    Put it in your spellcast directory, same spot as your sch xml. Call it "include.xml"

    That's what I did, but I wasn't sure as to whether my Googling discoveries were accurate or not. Thank you for reassuring me.

    Considering that it was correct, I'm wondering what is causing the freezing. If I'm already on SCH, the freeze occurs the second my character loads, and requires a hard restart. If I rename the files so they don't load, everything is fine.

    Are you using spellcast ver 2.43 (latest version on windower site)?

    Also, line 180, change <equip when="precast|midcast|aftercast" set=%spell /> to <equip when="precast|midcast|aftercast" set="%spell" /> (missing quote marks around %spell)

    I ran a quick validation and it popped out an error there, everything else looks good, coding wise. I can't test without being at home in the game though.

    This one has the fix Esvedium has.

    A few checks to make in case that does not work:
    * Delete resources > Download from Windower http://forums.windower.net/topic/194...tatus-unknown/ > Boot the game
    * Update to latest spellcast
    * Download the "cancel" plugin if you do not have it
    * Download notepad++ if you do not have it (I've heard reports of notepad++ not working with normal notepad) http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download

    Fortunately, the other conditions were already met (as I friggin' love Notepad++, as before it, I'd always use regular ol' Notepad for HTML editing, et cetera). It also appears that your fix has, well, fixed it. I'll probably get in touch with you via PM if the problem resurfaces, but I think I'm good to go.

    How would I go about getting spellcast to equip Shadow Mantle during Camlann's Torment during Darksday only, while leaving the rest of the set intact?

    Is there a way to swap into AfterCast gear before the spell animation finishes? Right now I'm getting stuck in Dusk gear for a good one to two seconds after Utsusemi goes off, which is no good if I need to move to kite something.

    Yes but I dunno how. Back in the day I used miscast for aftercast gear since you couldnt set aftercast negative. I think there's a better way now though

    I talked with Radec recently and he said there was no way to automatically hasten aftercast sets. What you can do, however, is manually change gears by making a $Casttime variable and do

    <command>var setcalc %CastTime - 0.4</command>
