Spellcast Help Thread (Link your XML using Pastebin.com for help!)

Bullets aren't equipping before the /ra command. I can have the gun equipped, no bullet equipped, go to shoot and get the message bitching about ammo, after which the bullet gets equipped. I thought precast meant it got equipped before the command it's tied to.

For actions requiring ammo (Angon included), you typically need a 1s cast delay even if your equip is precast.

Screw that, I'll just stuff in /equip ammo $TPBullet at the beginning of my ranged attack macro then. That oughta fix it.

Yugl, I was looking at your pastebin for the lastest DRG and Include updates, but they don't seem to be there. The latest version of Yugl-DRGv3 is dated 9/19 and Yugl-Include is dated 9/4. The include is most notably missing any references to the healing breath rules which Yugl-DRGv3 is looking for. Unless I'm misunderstanding something that will pose quite a problem.

Get Yugl-Include (Save it as that) and Yugl-DRGv3 (Save it as w/e). I added my name to the XML in order to avoid conflicts with other people's XMLs. The dates listed are misleading since Pastebin doesn't update when I edit a XML. I was just editing them before because it's somewhat easier than repasting (Requires me to relink all my posts). If you want though, I can start repasting and just link to my public pastebin though,.

Edit: Checked again and it was outdated, which is odd since I thought I fixed that.

Yeah, look for Apocalypse in the xml, Copy it, Paste it at the bottom, and change the id to 18672.

SO i've just starting using spellcast after years of doing it the old school way. I'm just super tired of having to hit macros for everything. I have a few really great ones for certain jobs from LS members, but what I'm really in need of is a good NIN, PLD, & RNG xml. MNK would be nice too, but the one I'm after most is definitely NIN, If anyone could post theirs, it'd be much appreciated. I have no idea how to specifically write them, but I do know how to edit certain things. I did a search but so many things came up I couldn't find one.

I was in the same boat a few months back, but what I did is just read a lot of other people's spellcast and just kinda figured it out, once you get a few things going it really becomes quite simple.
